Notes: A fascinating and rarely performed musical that deserves all the accolades it receives. The whole cast is strong, but Rachel is particularly fantastic in her dual role as both “Big” and “Little” Edie. This is captured perfectly with no blackouts, no obstruction, and no washout. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

Notes: This is the final show of Alex Brightman, Spencer Moses, Michael Hartney, Isabella Russo, Diego Lucano, Evie Dolan, Sofia Roma Rubino, Gavin Kim and Carly Gendell. Includes Curtain Call where Alex Brightman and Jenn Gambatese introduced the cast and announced graduations. Alex got very emotional during “If Only You Would Listen (Reprise).” I dropped my phone around “You’re in the Band” and picked it up at the end of Act 1. It’s still clear, but just turn up your volume at this part. Act 2 is great quality. Taken from the right mezzanine

- Shuffle Along (video only) - Broadway - June 24, 2016 - VOB
Notes: In honor of the show closing yesterday, here is a great capture of the final version of the show. Audra is absolutely stunning, and the rest of the cast is delightful. The music and choreography are fantastic as well. A very nice capture overall with a few short blackouts. There are two blackouts during the scenes between Honeysuckle Time and Swing Along and another during the New York Here We Come dance number; each blackout is one minute long. There are also a few quick dropouts in each act. There is one head on the right that blocks the actors’ legs, but it’s worked around when necessary, and it gets much better as the show goes on. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes partial curtain call and playbill scans.

This tour remains strong and bright. Kerstin continue to leads a strong cast and the children are superstars. An excellent capture with no blackouts, no washout, and no obstructions. It is filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent and includes curtain call.

Notes: A good HD capture with all things considered. This was a very small Theater and almost staged Theatre-in-the-round. Part of the railing lines the bottom of the screen for most scenes, which also can block actors far downstage left. All that considered, still a very enjoyable rare capture and performances.
